What's with the recent long hair trend in JE? (Okay.. so it's not recent)
Seriously... So many people are growing their hair long in JE.
hmmmmmm there's
Nagase (not too bad when styled)
Matsuoka (though he looks damn good)
Kimura Takuya (saw it in the Gatsby Moving Rubber CM, it was all permed and poofy) ~btw what in the world is a moving rubber?
Shige (he looks like a girl)
Hina with his long hair permed style (gosh plz not that style)
Subaru (though at least it looked nicer than his afro thing back in Jan)
Kame (gosh Kazuko what are you doing)
Hime (I'm already used to Hime with long hair)
Junno (Could use a trim)
Maru (maaa, it's okay)
Jin (you asking me? He'd look good with Sadako hair, though I do prefer a shorter trend much like his Anego hair)
(Actually most of KAT-TUN except Mr. Bouzu <-- I think he bouzued it again)
I'm sure there are more.. I just can't name all of them....

Guess where I went last night?

Actually I went out to dinner with my friend Garreth.
Finally all those failed attemps of hanging out for dinner (mostly my fault) we were finally able to meet for dinner.
We were supposed to go to a Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant but than we ended up going to Mei Yuan as the restaurant he suggested was closed until the 30th.
It was lots of fun. We chatted about things and things (too much to mention) but we met at 7:30 and we didn't finish until almost 9:30.
Than it was time to go home. You know waiting for the bus in Vancouver is scarier than waiting for the bus in Victoria. There are so many wierd looking people in Vancouver. ~ Shivers.
Well we promised to keep in touch and meet up again before he goes to Thailand Sept. 5th.

I'm back.... I'm sorry I've been neglecting my LJ and neglecting Aiko (LOL I hear she's been neglecting me too LOL)
Anyways, first it was studying for finals
which I think I didn't do all that good, but like I said in my previous post, better get a bad mark than a failing mark.
Right after exams on Friday, my computer gets infected with something. I tried fixing Friday evening, but Kanako and Shizuka came over and we watched a movie till quite late and since I had to work at 7:30 the next morning, I gave up trying to fix it even though I couldn't sleep all that well that night.
Saturday:
Went to work. A little incident happened at work, which I don't see any point in mentioning as it's long and tedious. Went out to dinner with Kath and we had a little to drink and I think the both of us got a little bit drunk. But boy the the both of us sleep well that night.
Sunday: Work
Monday:
Work. Bought myself a bag that was originally marked at $190. I've had my eyes on that bag since June 30 when Emma and I saw it. Than it was marked as $79 and I still couldn't bring myself to pay for it. Than Saturday when I met up with Kath I went in and this time it was marked down as $39. Oh yeah! I'm so buying it now. Hence I bought it.
Tuesday:
Work. Got so frustrated with my computer that I just decided to bring it to school to get it fixed for me, hoping it wouldn't cost me too much money. Slept really early since there was nothing good to watch nor were there anything fun for me to do.
Wednesday:
Thought Tuesday was my last day but apprently it wasn't. I almost didn't show up since I thought Tuesday was my last day at work. But Jina and I had checked the new schedual for fun and well low and behold my name was on it to work at 7:30. Oh well
After work I met up with Kanako, and Megumi for dinner at Earls. Victoria Earls is so cool... It's so Nigiyaka and busy....
Than Megumi told me that Takuma was going to join us for some drinking after he got off work.
Sure the more people the merrier. ^^
It sure was fun. My second time of drinking beer. HEHE...
Though I think I finally realized that side-effects of drunkeness for me is sleepiness.
Seriously, I was really tired throughout the last hour or so. I mean I didn't drink that much.
Than it was time to go since Megumi had to work at 7:30 the next day. Thank you Takuma for waiting for us until the bus came. Hope you didn't get sick.
Thursday:
Woke up tired at around 10:00ish. Did some laundry and decided to go to Mayfair Mall for the first time in my year in Victoria. Wow.. it's quite big. My first intention was to buy a present for my new baby neice born Aug. 3rd. I ended up buying myself a shirt and a suit jacket. LOL.
Well when I told mom she wasn't mad so I guess it was okay. LOL
Anyways.. Let's my week.
Ah I forgot to write about my dinner BBQ Party at Kazumi's house. It was lots of fun. ^^

I'm currently a puddle of Miyu goo...
not because I just saw some HOT pics of Jin or Koichi and Tackey
but becuase we've been having SUPER HOT WEATHER in Vancouver and Victoria
I mean I got woken up this morning at 3:00 because it was WAY TOO HOT!!
Than of course I got thirsty and had to feel around to the kitchen looking half awake and half hoping I won't step on Herbert (our resident kitty)
But all I can say it... I hope this weather will tone down a bit!!!!!
I don't think I wanna go to work tomorrow!!! It's gonna be SUPER hot in the kitchen...

If you haven't guessed it.. I had a midterm exam.
Yup.. I had a test on my birthday!
But it's okay.. Yoko called me up and we went out to dinner at Earls (By the way, the new place is so HIP and COOL!!!)

I think it just opened a few weeks ago, because I remember they were still building it when I went downtown a months ago!
Than we wanted to go eat cake at Murchies.. But it was already closed. So we walked around looking for cake place and ended up going to Cactus Club Cafe for cake..

I don't know... Maybe I've slowly realized that JE is not going to keep me happy forever... But recently.. I've not cared all that much... I mean it's not like I don't like KAT-TUN or other groups... But I've just not cared as much... I miss a file and it's alright... I missed it.. I can get it another time.
I guess I've just been involved with a true life that I know will happen..... But either way I'm happy. Whether it be drooling over Jin or Maruyama, or it be hanging out with my friends from work or from school.
I guess it's just that most of the people I talk to now from work are all older than me, and very interested in Western culture rather than theie own... So we talk about that more.. But I was able to have a nice convo with Yoko... I've actually started to get to know Yoko much much better.....
Anyways... It's National Holiday this week. My friend's coming up from Van to visit me in Victoria since I can't go back this weekend as I have to work on Sunday. We're going downtown to watch the fireworks.. She says we should wear our Yukatas... It be fun though...hehehe
Next week.. Going out to dinner with Garreth.. Haven't seen him in a long time.. And he's going to Thailand at the end of August for eight month. Told him to come visit me in Japan next year as he'd still be in Thailand when I get to Japan. He said if I could find him an english teaching job. Actually I was surprised when he called me...hehehehe
